Note on data protection
Amongst internet users we currently find that there is uncertainty and a certain mistrust of whether and which personal data are acquired, saved, processed and perhaps passed on.
We would therefore like to inform you here about the online data protection at REM PLUS GmbH:
"We use Google Analytics, a web analysis service from Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, text files, which are saved on your computer and which facilitate an analysis of your usage of the web site.
The information generated by the cookie about your usage of this web site is normally transmitted to a Google server in the USA where it is stored. In the case of activation of IP anonymisation on this web site your IP address is however first truncated by Google within member states of the European Union or in other signatory states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. The full IP address is only transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there in exceptional cases. Google uses this information on behalf of the operators of this web site to evaluate your web site usage, to compile reports on web site activities and to provide other services to the web site operator regarding web site and internet usage. The IP address passed on within the scope of Google Analytics will not be bundled together with other data held by Google. You can prevent the storage of cookies through an appropriate setting of the browser software; we point out however that in this case not all of the web site functions may be able to be used to the full extent. Furthermore, you can prevent Google acquiring and processing the data relating to your web site usage generated by the cookie (incl. your IP address) by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available from the following link (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de).
You can prevent acquisition by Google Analytics by clicking the following link. An opt-out cookie is set which prevents the future acquisition of your data when you visit this web site:
Deactivate Google Analytics
You will find further information on conditions of use and data protection at www.google.com/analytics/terms/de.html or at www.google.com/intl/de/analytics/privacyoverview.html. We would like to point out that on this web site Google Analytics has been extended by the code “gat._anonymizeIp();” in order to ensure anonymised acquisition of IP addresses (so-called IP masking)."
Deactivating Google Adwords
We also use Google Analytics to evaluate data from Adwords and the Doubleclick cookie for statistical purposes. If you do not want this, you can deactivate it via the Ads Settings Manager (http://www.google.com/settings/ads/onweb/?hl=de).
Use of social media plug-ins
"Plug-ins for social networks are integrated here. You can recognise the relevant plug-ins from their logo or the ""like button"" on our web site. During your visit a plug-in establishes a direct connection between your browser and the relevant social media servers. These servers then receive the information that you have visited us here with your IP address. The purpose and extent of the data collection and the further processing and utilisation of the data through the relevant social networks as well as your rights in this respect and the possible settings for the protection of your private sphere can be found in the data protection information of the provider."
By using the "Post" button [Share link] the Facebook server is informed that you have opened up the corresponding page of our internet presence. When you use the Share function and are logged into Facebook, Facebook can assign the visit to your Facebook account. When you provide a comment, the corresponding information is transferred from your browser directly to Facebook, where it is stored. The purpose and extent of the data collection and the further processing and utilisation of the data through Facebook as well as your rights in this respect and the possible settings for the protection of your private sphere can be found in the data protection information of Facebook. If you do not want Facebook to collect data about you via our internet presence, you have to log out of Facebook before visiting our internet presence and should no longer use the "Post" function [Share function].
Personal data
We only gather data in the extent to which you yourself have send data to us, for example, for the Newsletter subscription or when writing an e-mail to us. Of course we treat these data confidentially and only use them for the original reason you have sent them to us. The data you pass to us are not made available to third parties neither by us nor by any persons commissioned by us. This would only occur where it is legally required or permissible, when you have granted us your consent or when a regulatory action prevails in this respect.
